Urban Camp - Parkville

Urban Camp provides a city experience for kids who live regionally. I was engaged by Urban Camp to bring to life some internal courtyard spaces at their base in Royal Park, Parkville.

The brief called for seating, improved play space opportunities, a BBQ area as well as softening the space which was dominated by concrete.

The response features splashes of colour achieved through paint, soft artificial turf, bespoke timber seating, raised planters, wire trellis, re-purposed granite rocks and a mix of climate appropriate native and succulent plants.
