Urban Camp - Parkville

Urban Camp provides an city experience for kids who live regionally. I was engaged by Urban Camp to energise some internal courtyard spaces at their base in Royal Park, Parkville.

The brief called for additional seating, improved play space opportunities and a BBQ area as well as softening the existing space which was dominated by concrete.

The response features a riot of colour achieved through paint, soft artificial turf, bespoke timber seating, raised planters, wire trellis, re-purposed granite rocks and a mix of climate appropriate native and succulent plants.
